Conditions of participation

  1. General

    1. Provider

      Haus des Stiftens gGmbH, Landshuter Allee 11, 80637 Munich (hereinafter referred to as "Haus des Stiftens") is the operator of the websites www.sap-solidarityfund.org and www.foerderprogramme.org. Haus des Stiftens provides the platforms in accordance with these terms and conditions. The offer is free of charge. Non-profit organizations can post projects or funding applications on the platform with the aim of generating donations for their charitable cause. By registering on the platform, users declare their full agreement with the conditions described here.
    2. Haus des Stiftens

      The Haus des Stiftens is recognized as a non-profit organization for the promotion of civic engagement. Against this background, the Haus des Stiftens presents funding applications from nonprofits to donors, companies, and other sponsors.
    3. SAP Solidarity Fund e.V. und SAP SE

      As sponsors of the SAP Solidarity Fund campaign, SAP Solidarity Fund e.V. and SAP SE provide financial resources to support charitable causes in a variety of contexts.
    4. Goals of the SAP Solidarity Fund

      The goal of the SAP Solidarity Fund is to support people in disaster and humanitarian crises situations by making specific charitable projects possible through donations.
    5. Funding amount

      The SAP Solidarity Fund e.V. provides the financial means for the advertised funding programs to support charitable purposes.

  2. Participation and application

    1. Eligibility

      All registered non-profit organizations based in Germany are eligible to apply to the SAP Solidarity Fund, provided they meet the eligibility criteria of the funding programs advertised. Prerequisite is full registration and validation on Förderprogramme.org.
    2. Exclusion criteria

      No organizations or applications will be supported that directly or indirectly benefit a political party or party-affiliated institution or that have religiously motivated missionary objectives. Also not supported are associations, institutions and projects that glorify or promote violence, violate criminal laws, are pornographic, racist, or discriminatory.
    3. Application

      The application requires the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria (see 2.1.). Applications are submitted directly to the backend of the SAP Solidarity Fund website. For more detailed information on the application process, please see Submitting an Applicationfor Funding. Each organization is entitled to submit one application. If this is funded, no further application can be submitted. If the application is not funded, a new application can be submitted.
    4. Application period

      Applications can only be submitted during the funding period of the respective funding program.
    5. Costs

      Registration and presentation of organization and applications to the SAP Solidarity Fund is free of charge. Each organization is responsible for expenses incurred in the application process. There will be no reimbursement of expenses and costs.
    6. Use

      By submitting the documents, the user and the non-profit organization assure that they own all rights to the images and texts, that they have the unrestricted exploitation rights to all parts of the image, that the image is free of third-party rights, and that the publication does not violate third party rights, and that no personal rights are violated in the depiction of persons. If one or more persons are recognizably depicted in the photo, the persons concerned must agree to the photo being published. The user or applicant must ensure that these documents are kept on hand and will provide written confirmation of this on request or a copy of all agreements on the use of images (consent declarations). Should third parties nevertheless assert claims for infringement of their rights, the applicant shall indemnify the Haus des Stiftens against all claims. Photos edited on the computer may not contain any parts of images from magazines, books, purchased CDs, etc. The posting of the following contents, the linking to the same is not permitted:

      • Material that is harmful to young people or their development, in particular content that glorifies violence, is pornographic or otherwise immoral
      • Content that promotes or glorifies hatred, violence, or any form of discrimination
      • Untrue statements of fact or insults
      • Vulgar or obscene language, disrespectful, provocative, and aggressive behavior towards other users
      • Misleading content
      • Calls for boycotts or unpeaceful or otherwise illegal actions

      As soon as the Haus des Stiftens becomes aware of inadmissible content or suspects such content, it is entitled to remove such content from the platform at any time. Furthermore, it reserves the right to deactivate and delete the user account.
    7. Funding

      The funding decision on fully submitted applications is usually made by a panel of several members. Even if applications are submitted in full and all criteria are met, there is no entitlement to funding.
    8. Notification and payment

      Applications will be reviewed at regular intervals during the action period. Applicants will be notified of application decisions via email within 14 days of submission of the application, if possible. The funding amount will be paid out within four weeks exclusively to the bank account deposited at Förderprogramme.org.

  3. Legal

    1. Suspension of the action

      Haus des Stiftens reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the entire promotion or any part thereof at any time.
    2. Limitation of liability

      If a submitted image violates the rights of third parties, the user shall indemnify the Haus des Stiftens against all claims by third parties and the costs of the associated legal defense. Furthermore, Haus des Stiftens cannot be held liable for technical or organizational problems.
    3. Data protection

    4. Miscellaneous

      The platform is subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Should individually provisions of the Terms of Use be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining Terms of Use shall remain unaffected. They shall be replaced by an appropriate provision that comes closest to the purpose of the invalid provision. In addition to these Terms of Use, the data protection information at www.hausdesstiftens.org must be observed.
